Born in 1953 in Borgosesia (province of Vercelli)
where I still live, I got near photography little more than a child, when I received a Bencini Koroll II, my first camera.
After using a Rollei 35 in the 70's, it's with reflex cameras (I have been using a Nikon F90x with original optical system
Nikon 18/35, 35/70 e 80/200 for ages) that I succeed in satisfying the passion for photography at my best.
Passion as a way to bring real-life experiences to life again and transmit sensations and emotions.
Passion grown step after step with the interest and desire to travel, so that travel and photography form a whole that cannot be
separated.
After my first experiences in Italy and Europe, since 1984 I have done a lot of journeys in the different parts of the world;
up to now I have visited 61 countries in the four continents.
The desire to visit always different places, to admire unknown landscapes, to meet people and ethnic groups with dissimilar
habits and customs, are the reasons that push me, together with my wife Adriana, to look for new horizons, new emotions, new
sensations, new adventures and new travels.
They are prepared and organized to be lived, always, in a totally independent way. |
