Bordering with the state of the Assam in India and with the Mizoram in Bangladesh, the Chin State, situated in the western side of Burma, it extends him on a surface, almost entirely mountainous, of over 130.000 square miles. The geographical position, the conformation of the territory, the few and not always practicable ways of communication, as well as the lack of structures, they contribute in substantial way, to the isolation of the region from the rest of the nation.
