LALIBELA - La Gerusalemme d'Africa!

"All'epoca del Medioevo etiopico, uomini di fede cristiana, ormai circondati da popoli musulmani, decisero di erigere su un altopiano inespugnabile una nuova città santa, costruendo undici chiese rupestri scavate nel tufo. Nacque così una delle più grandi meraviglie del mondo, dove ancora oggi le popolazioni locali confluiscono per celebrare i sacri riti ed i festeggiamenti legati al Natale copto" ...

LALIBELA - The Jerusalem of Africa!

PUSHKAR - Il lago sacro a Brahma
.... " All'inizio di Kartika, l'ottavo mese del calendario lunare hindu, i cammellieri del deserto del Thar, adornati i loro cammelli con treccine e nastri multicolori, si mettono in cammino per raggiungere Pushkar, uno dei più importanti luoghi sacri induisti. Qui, nella settimana antecedente il plenilunio si tiene, unica nel suo genere, una delle maggiori fiere indiane: la Camel Fair, la fiera dei cammelli." ...
